Heli-Heroes
The fires in San Diego are ... unbelievable, surreal, scary, frustrating and fascinating. Heroes are everywhere, you just have to look. I happened to be near a lake that helicopters were using to fill their water buckets to be dumped on the nearby inferno. The pilots and crew were obviously skilled, focused and very well trained. They were friendly too. Many of them waved at the nearby crowds as they lifted away with their precious cargo of fire drenching payload. Go get 'em guys!
